Visionaries was commissioned by the Founder, Will Stein to develop a revolutionary Augmented Reality based app to increase on-line sales and generate more social media momentum. This app was to be released at the Basel watch fair, with thousands upon thousands of people trying it on for the first time.
The app contains 10 different watch models, each with 7 different possible strap combinations. By moving the 3D model around, the user can experience the unique frequency technology placed at the back of the watch. Once the desired model was chosen, users could use the marker given to them at the stores of simply print it to view the watch on their wrist through AR.
The app was launched in multiple countries simultaneously, it also provided a great solution for buyers globally who did not have access to the real products to try on. The concept of trying a product virtually also reduced the probability of people returning the product when bought on-line. Social media campaign gained huge momentum proving AR and interactive technologies are the way to go for jewellery companies world wide.
